Between finishing up my course work and starting at Evanston High, I'm going to be giving myself a refresher course and starting on my unit plans. I'll be reviewing my texts and notes from all the English Ed courses and catching up on my EJ reading.
Any specific chapters/articles that you found particularly helpful? Suggestions on texts that we didn't use in our classes?

It might be easier to pass on information if we know what you might be doing or your specific interests.
I'm teaching 10th graders and honors 11th. But I'm still not sure about what texts/units I'm teaching.
