Where Are You Teaching?

I just wanted to start a thread to see where everyone is teaching in the fall. I will be teaching 3 periods of 8th grade at Diamond Fork Jr. High (it's a part-time position). I'm so excited to at least get my foot in the door at an excellent school! Where are you going to be? And if you're not teaching, what will you be up to?

What would be your dream novel to teach to ninth graders? I can choose and I want to choose well.

Summer Reading?

Between finishing up my course work and starting at Evanston High, I'm going to be giving myself a refresher course and starting on my unit plans. I'll be reviewing my texts and notes from all the English Ed courses and catching up on my EJ reading.

Any specific chapters/articles that you found particularly helpful? Suggestions on texts that we didn't use in our classes?
